| Everything's bigger and better in Texas
Dallas is a great city. I had an absolute blast the past week. The past three days, I've come to class pretty much drunk every morning. As a matter of fact, I still feel drunk now. I met some really cool people from all across the US. Met some fellow co-workers from the LA office which I'll be working out of next month.
- Tuesday night we went to Dave & Busters for a group social. Jack on the rocks and Red Bull Goose was only $3 bucks.
- Wednesday night we went to a Texas Rangers game and then afterwards the Jaguar Club aka Strip Joint. The beers were only $5 bucks (as opposed to $7.25 at yankees stadium) and they had $1 hotdogs. The people are so much friendlier here than in NY. We ended up hanging out and chatting with this family from New Mexico. They actually drove like 8 hours to go to the Cowboys vs Colts preseason game. To all of you strip club fans, in Texas, it's BYOB at the strip clubs. You can bring in bottles of liquor or cases of beer. I walked into the strip club with a 12 pack of coors light and the waitress asked me if I wanted bucket of ice... are you kidding me? Mind you, this strip club wasn't ghetto. Just think of a high-end huge club in the city... it was just like that.
- Thursday night we went to this really good BBQ joint. Probably had the best brisket and pulled pork of my life. Afterwards we went to the Ghost Bar in downtown dallas. The view was incredible from the balcony. The pictures I took (again with my treo, left my camera at the hotel) doesn't do the club justice. The Dallas women are pretty hot. Bunch of blonde hair beauties walking around the club. It wasn't like NY, where there is a ratio of like 5:1 guys to girls.
- Today I leave for LA. My friends are already there, they arrived last night. I have about 7 apartments lined up to view. I just hope I can find the right place tomorrow and then I won't have to worry about it when I get here next month.

Awesome view from my hotel room

| In Dallas..
I'm in Dallas for a week's worth of training on information management. I arrived in Dallas to 84 degree temperature at 12 AM. I will no longer complain about NYC weather after this trip. Luckily we're indoors throughout the day time. I'm in the lobby of the Marriot having a Dos Equis while on my laptop. Beats staying up in my room and drinking water. I had dinner with a bunch of co-workers after class. We went out to eat sushi, and more than half of the 14 people ended up having some type of 'teriyaki' dish.......damn uhh non-asians.
I'm flying out to LA at the end of the week. A few of my friends will be there to chill for the weekend. After 5 days of this BORING training, it'll def be great to go out and go nuts in LA. To think, that'll be my home for the next 6 months... yes, for the interim, I've slotted 6 months of my life to LA. Yes, before in my previous posts I left it as indefinite but I decided for the time being it'll be 6 months. I need to come back and finish up grad school. I havent decided yet if I want to just take off from work and just pump out the degree in a year... or go back the way of a regular stable nyc job and classes at night. That has yet to be determined.
Anyway, having to upload photos to four different online communities (myspace, friendster, facebook and xanga) is a pain. Everyone on xanga should just go on facebook. Here are the pictures from Kevin and Nancy's wedding. A couple that I give the utmost respect to, they've been married since HS (10+ years ago) and only now did they have their 'formal' ceremony. Yes yes, that's Francis Chatterbox Cheng who married them. He was ordained as a priest.

| Captain Morgan's Ultimate Pose-off
So last month I was working on this project to build this section out on the previously existing www.captainmorgan.com site, and it's finally live. Captain Morgan is having a contest where people submit pictures of themselves posing as the captain (with one leg in the air as if they were standing on a peg leg, like a pirate, arrrrr) on their website, and users can come on and vote for their favorite picture. Winner gets a roundtrip, all expensed paid trip to Vegas. I went on just today, and there are quite a few funny pictures, check it out.
